Sunday, March 22, 2020 is our third annual Jam vs Cancer Fundraiser!

The Maddalone family of Glenville, NY, faced the many challenges that a cancer diagnosis brings. Funds were donated through GoFundMe to assist this family with the financial difficulty they were up against. Since that time, a small team of volunteers have given of their time to work on fundraisers in order to assist in helping those with cancer in the Capital District, NY with the out of pocket expenses related to their treatment. As cancer patients are under stressors that are very difficult for others to imagine, MTCAF strives to make the process as simple as possible. If a Cancer Patient lives in the Capital District and is in need of assistance for their out of pocket expenses, they simply complete a one page application and submit along with diagnosis from their doctor. A check will then be written out directly to the patient. As Mother Teresa said, "We cannot all do great things but we can all do small things with great love." We have an incredible lineup of local musicians coming together to support a cause that is so very personal and important to us and to so many! Local guitar phenomenon and our good friend, Pete Pashoukos will host the event. Our musicians and friends are an incredibly talented group who are generously donating their time: Katy Dwyer (Er Go Blu), Steve Candlen, Rick Bolton, Mikki Bakken and Charlotte Reilly! We have a few other surprise guests as well. Our menu will include our authentic Italian small plates, flatbreads, salads, freshly baked desserts, imported wines, draft, craft and bottled beer, hard cider, mimosas, bellinis, bloody marys, soft drinks, cappuccino, coffee and tea.
